This 3-year course is followed by compulsory practice training of six months the course is designed as follows:
NDDY previous 1st year
NDDY intermediate 2nd year and
NDDY final 3rd year
Minimum qualification for admission
(a) Minimum qualification for admission to NDDY 1st year that is previous a senior secondary intermediate or an equivalent examination with Biology as one of the subjects conducted by the recognized Educational Board or university.
(b) Candidate who have passed the intermediate examination or equivalent in Humanities or Science Mathematics and those who have qualified for the chikitsa Sahayak examination can also be admitted to NDDY previous.
(c) Candidate who are registered as registered medical practitioner recognized by State Central Board in method of diagnosis system of medicine can also be admitted to this course, they will also, be required to take the General Science examination as an additional compulsory paper.
- DIPLOMA IN NATUROPATHY AND DIPLOMA IN YOG INTERMEDIATE 2ND YEAR
(a) NDDY intermediate second year the examination can be taken only after the candidate has qualified the NDDY previous.
(b) Candidate who have passed the examination recognized by the Central or State Government as a regular student in MBBS, BAMS, BUMS, Physiotherapy degree course BPED Degree course B. Pharma and BSc Nursing courses, BHMS 4-year course BDS 4-year course, and BDS institutional the course can seek admission to NDDY Intermediate 2nd Year course examination directly. They will however have to take the extra paper on principles of Nature care, Mud Therapy, and Natural environment, etc. Prescribe for First Year of NDDY, Course. If they so choose such candidates can at them on risk, fill up the application form as per rules for the next third-year session of NDDY, even before the announcement of the result, however, permission to appear in the third year will be granted only on passing the Second-year examination.
(c) Candidate holding two- or three-years diploma in nature apathy and yoga from any institution will be given admission direct to second near Powai aided they have been taught biology and physiology in the first-year syllabus such candidate will have to appear in NDDY’s first-year first paper. Also, they will have to give a 1-year gap between second- and a third-year examination.
(d) Besides candidate who was earlier given permission to appear directly in the second-year candidate joining all other relations given before passing the second-year examination will be admitted to 3rd year as per predefined time schedule.

This examination can be written by those who have qualified for the intermediate second-year examinations.
